The Western Challenge  

We believe that the state of Western Christianity is in present crisis. According to the research of George Otis Jr. and the Sentinel Group, out of the approximately 175 transformed cities in the earth, the Western World has none. We have more biblical training institutions in America than any other country on the earth and yet we have not one transformed city. This should shock us. Where is the Word of the Lord prevailing over one city in America?

At FSM we believe contending for God's presence is that call to every ministry and educational institute within the Western World right now. Who will contend for the Presence of the Lord? Who will bring together theological education with corporate prayer, fasting, worship, healing, prophecy, and sacrificial giving to the poor until revival breaks out in a geographic region? Presently, many of our western missionaries are leaving the field, many of our leaders are consumed with platforms and book deals, and many of our local pastors are burning out at a consistently high rate. We are beyond the luxury of simply choosing solid degree programs in America. Corporate prayer and a radical commitment to pursue and proclaim the knowledge of God is our only hope.

Our Mission

The Forerunner School of Ministry is a full-time Bible School working to redefine theological education in the Western World. It is our desire to raise up 10,000 leaders and preachers who will see corporate prayer, worship, and fasting as fundamental to theological education and world-wide revival. In the context of a Missions Base fueled by 24/7 prayer and worship, students are schooled in an atmosphere of theological excellence while being mentored in practical ministry modalities that will equip them for comprehensive ministry to the nations. This is our vision: in the context of encounter, prayer, and worship to thoroughly train forerunners in the knowledge of God for mighty and extravagant expressions of love.

One Training Center: Seven Schools

In the context of a thriving missions base and a 24/7 International House of Prayer we offer a one year mission base certificate and 2 & 3 year diplomas in seven different schools.

One Year Certificate Program

This one year program consists of a core curriculum designed to ground the student in the vision and values of the Missions Base. The student is immersed into the life and ministries of the base while focusing on theological studies. Also, opportunity is given to each individual to join the staff of the International House of Prayer, raise support, and function in all aspects of the base. This enables theological training to be squarely grounded in a practical mentoring environment.

Two and Three Year Diploma Programs

The two and three year diplomas are given be each of the seven schools and are uniquely designed to train and equip the student for ministry in that particular area through both classroom instruction and field experience. Our goal is to give evaluated experience and assistance in developing a strategy for his or her sending.
